Delete your account

Shakey is made by Mijo Majić. You can delete your Shakey account, and everything backed up to our server, at any time.

In the app

  1. Open Shakey and go to Settings → Account & backup.
  2. Tap Delete account, then Continue.
  3. Tap Delete account again to confirm.

Your backup is deleted straight away. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm, so Shakey’s access to your Apple ID is removed too.

By email

Can’t open the app? Email support@shakeyapp.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, workouts, meals and foods, water, weigh-ins, habits and check-ins, personal records, XP and settings stored on our server
  • Your AI scan count and saved subscription status
  • Your sign-in record: your email and your Google or Apple ID

What we keep

  • Feedback you sent from the app, with nothing that links it to you.
  • Purchase records, which Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep for as long as tax law requires. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription, so cancel it first.
  • Usage and crash data, stored under a random ID rather than your name or email, and deleted automatically after a limited time. Ask in your email and we’ll delete it sooner.

Deleting your account doesn’t touch the data on your phone. To remove that, use Settings → Data & privacy → Delete all data, or delete the app.

Never signed in?

Then your data lives only on your phone: delete it with Settings → Data & privacy → Delete all data, or by deleting the app. Our server only holds a random ID with your free-scan count and subscription status, which isn’t linked to you.

Delete some data, keep your account

You can delete any workout, meal, weigh-in or habit in the app. If you’re signed in, the deletion reaches your backup the next time it syncs.
